Welcome to the last full replay. We’ve found a ton of you who are relying on replays instead of being there.
Normally this would be fine, but the Clambakes are created for the interactivity. We need people to not only show up… but ask questions.
So… starting next week, we’ll just be replaying a short recap of the call. In order to get all the content you will have to show up.
Now… I know you folks in Europe (especially) have a hard time being with us but…
Come on… from time to time you can make it, no? Isn’t your marketing business worth it?
Plus… I’ve decided we will… from time to time schedule Clambakes specifically to accommodate those of you for whom the timeslot doesn’t work.
So… join us live at 8pm (EST) every week… or if your timezone makes it tough to do, just pick and choose the topic weeks you want to show up for, and wait for our earlier Clambakes to supplement that.
Okay… enjoy this week’s Clambake with much better audio and a bit of a smoother operation (we’re getting there, folks). Thanks for your patience.

I enjoyed the call. Getting the skinny directly from successful marketers is great.
I’d like a bit more structure. This call started off with an agenda, but it felt like we slipped a bit early on and struggled to get back on schedule.
The willingness of your team to share their expertise is awesome.
Matt,
I’m not sure “slipped” is the thing. The entire concept is that each week starts with a planned lesson. But the rest of it (up till the last 10 minutes) is all about asking and answering your questions. The the Q&A is supposed to be unregulated… uncontrolled… unstructured. That’s why I surround it with the two structured bits.
But… this week we had a problem with everyone’s questions being written instead of asked. Too many shy bakers… and too many without mics.
Thanks for your input though. I hope we do better this week. I’d love any topic ideas you have.
Hi Vin
I attended the call, but I just didn’t have any questions to ask as you all seemed to cover pretty much everything.
I wasn’t sure if the questions had to be related to the topic discussed, but I see from above that they don’t, so next time I shall be sure and fire a few questions.
Nice to see Laura on the call too, girl power n all that ha ha.
Again thanks to you all for taking the time to do the calls, it’s much appreciated, even at that time in the morning for me (from Scotland, UK) however I have already learned loads so I don’t mind missing some zzzzzzzz’s
Catch ya on the next call
Sally
Sally…
Yeah… I think I have to be more clear on this one point. I’ve mentioned it in emails… and on the calls themselves, but …
I will have to make it abundantly clear to everyone by next call…
YOUR QUESTIONS DON’T HAVE TO BE ABOUT THE TOPIC. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ABOUT ANY FACET OF YOUR MARKETING!
Sorry to raise my voice!
And thanks for being with us Sally.
Vin I enjoy the clambake. You’re good at keeping the discussion moving.
Thing is, my schedule is often in motion, and I can’t always stick around to listen. I’ll miss the replays.
Re the shy bakers I can only speculate… with some of the heavy hitter famous marketers on board, perhaps it’s intimidating to speak up.
Dave,
I completely sympathize with everyone who just can’t make it. That’s why I’m still going to play highlights. Hopefully they’ll be enough to entice those for whom it is more difficult, to make the time (once in a while) to be on the calls.
And who know… maybe there’ll be another option down the road.
and thanks for joining us, Dave.
Well, okay, I have tons of questions if you don’t mind answering them then…
I’ll just make sure to ask you only about the ones on marketing.
Have plenty of those too.
Thank you all for the calls.

What can I do for you? Keep letting people know about the Clambake?
Absolutely… keep telling people… and be sure to ask questions live! Gotta keep it moving.
Great call again. I’ll have to jump on the computer next time for the calls because every time been on phone, can’t comment or jump in. See you this week Vin.
See you there man.
Sorry I missed the call dude
My website got hacked that day so I had to focus on getting that taken care of.
Looking forward to watching this sucker.
Also Jason… we have a big Clambake for this week. Hope to see you there.
