Thanks for putting out the replay Vin!
I was one of the guys who had troubles getting on…no worries though.
Looking forward to being on the next one.
I think this is the beginning of a beautiful thang…
We’re working on it Jason. Thanks for trying though.
@Jason Parker Internet Marketing:
Hey Vin,
Nice show, really enjoyed it.
You said to post a sales letter to be reviewed, so I’m posting mine..which is a sales letter/video.
http://rapidgiveawayprofits.com
Appreciate the review.
Thanks
Mike
It’s great hearing everyone getting together and sharing fantastic value and creating a fantastic call. Even though this one was majorly on video, it didn’t matter because of a lot of the same things can be applied to copy as well. Thanks Vin and the rest of the posse
Thank you all for a great call and video presentation. I enjoyed listening to you guys. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised how well the news type of cliffhangers work, but that makes sense.
Would love to have you guys critique a sales letter, but am still working on all the techniques. Will spread the word for others to join in though.
I’ve been studying Beachbody’s marketing lately, mainly how they build a community around their products. They have a team full of independent coaches that help people who buy their products achieve weight loss success. And for the coaches, there’s an amazing corporate culture they’ve integrated into network marketing. Sort of like a revved up affiliate program with incentives, training and teamwork built in.
Community is working, especially for blogs and even e-commerce sites. Apple, Dell, and Amazon.com have built businesses off of their target market and expanded into building communities to keep customers coming back.
Maybe that could be a topic for a weekly Live Clambake. Do you use community in your conversion and launch techniques? If so, how do you use it and how effective is it?
Do you think even small businesses need to learn how to build a community around their products and services? Or, from your experience, maybe you believe it isn’t necessary. Would like to hear your thoughts.
Great to see everyone!
Gabrielle,
Good questions. I love the affiliate/coach model. When done right, it can really make selling not look like selling at all.
As for “community”, I think for some niches it’s a more natural fit than for others. Not sure if it’s ready for the next Conversion Sermon… but this really should be brought up on a future call. I hope you bring it up, Gabrielle. And again… thanks for joining us.
I personally would like you to go with Option 1:
“FIRST IDEA: The psychology and mechanics of
creating a persuasive optin page that converts
looky-loos into subscribers you can email your
offers to over and over again…”
Hey Hey Hey Vin
Thanks for the last live call with you and the guys, I learned a lot (cliffhangers) and I got to speak to you, how cool is that ha ha!
Just got your email about the two ideas for the next call…. I want both, can’t we have both??? but if push came to shove… I would like idea 1 plz.
I have a link to a sales page I used recently, it was my first attempt at a video sales letter and it’s no longer “live” to the public, but any feedback would be much appreciated for when I launch again (I’m a big girl, so I can take constructive criticism on the chin)
Sales letter link is: http://learnwithsally.com/97signup/
Thank you for providing such value for free to all of us, you and the other guys ROCK and I can’t wait for the next call.
Sally (from Scotland, UK)
Next call I vote for Option One
So far it looks like the direction is clear. Unless this bucks statistical probability and all of a sudden changes directions, it looks like it’s going to be squeeze pages.
I don’t know if you’re looking for anymore content suggestions, but I’d love to learn more about your pre-selling tactics one of these days…
Like email writing, pre-sell pages…
It all helps me more because I’m mainly an affiliate.
A lot of the other stuff I learn is so I can spot high converting offers.
Great topic for the future, Jason, thanks.
Any time dooood
That’s a tough choice between 1 and 2. Option 2 pulled me in the most so that’s my vote.
I vote for squeeze page option as well.
Another vote for option 1… The psychology ofva converting landing page.
Please???
Thanks,
Dot
I liked both, but option2 would be my choice
Alright guys… it looks like option 1 wins for this week. Unless something else comes up we can do option 2 next week.
BTW… got a great lineup for tonight. Giving a down and dirty Sermon on squeeze pages that magically suck email addresses out of visitors.
Plus… it looks like 4 team members will be joining us. A last minute surprise even to me!
You’ll be getting your email with the login instructions this afternoon.
C-you then.
Vin
Awww yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Looking forward to it
Thanks guys!

Do you have a written version? Either a PowerPoint or a Word Document?
This way I can upload it and we can quickly browse through it.

Apologies for the late reply, folks, but i’m in the middle of starting a new business.
And, you know how it is with those: It takes time.
I was going to ask you to comment on my blog, but I see you use the same theme I do. And they’re pretty much the same format.
However, do feel free to rip it apart if you must.
Oh yeah. Forgot to ask…
Why can’t I download the show?
You mean you can’t watch it or you want to actually save it for offline use?
I can watch it.
I want to save it for offline use.
Just really hoping people will use it online. So… if we later put it on its own destination site in the future, you’d have to go there to access it. Also… to keep a reason to have to show up, we’re not going to keep them online forever. They will be pulled down after a handful of them. Then older ones would come off one week at a time as new ones came one.
Aha, sneaky.
But makes sense.
